Do you have crooked or overcrowded teeth?
Are you embarrassed by noticeable gaps in your teeth?
Does your overbite or underbite irritate you?
Are you a teen or adult who’s self-conscious about your smile but hesitant about getting metal braces?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, Embrace Dental in Sparks, NV would be happy to talk to you about Invisalign®️.
Talk to your dentist at your next check-up if you’re interested in Invisalign. Our dental professionals will be happy to walk you through the steps and help you decide if it’s a good choice for you.
If you’re interested in moving forward and your dentist agrees that you’re a good candidate, we’ll book a consultation appointment for you. At this appointment, we’ll take a scan of your teeth and make a plan for shifting your teeth into their ideal placement based on your needs.
When we receive your aligners from Invisalign, we’ll call you back in for a fit appointment. We’ll make sure you know how to wear and care for your aligners and answer any questions you may have about daily life with Invisalign.
You’ll receive different pairs of aligners, which you will switch out every couple of weeks. Your dentist will tell you how long to wear each set of aligners.
We’ll want to see you in our office on average every six to eight weeks to check on your progress with Invisalign.
You might be wondering why a patient would choose Invisalign over traditional braces. Here are some of the reasons our patients have told us they prefer Invisalign.
Invisalign is designed to be worn comfortably. Its smooth edges don’t press against your jaw or the inside of your cheek.
Since you can’t take braces off while you’re eating, our patients with braces will sometimes experience popped brackets or loose wires. This can be frustrating and requires an office visit to be fixed. Invisalign requires less maintenance between regular check-ups.
The biggest draw for most of our patients is that Invisalign is less noticeable than braces since it’s clear. Adult patients who skipped braces or whose teeth have shifted since they had braces especially appreciate this perk.
