The Whitening Process
Our process won’t take much time out of your day, and you can schedule an appointment with us whenever you are ready. Here’s how our process works:
We start with a high-quality dental image of your smile and make a record of your current shade. This allows you to witness exactly how many shades brighter your teeth can become.
Once you have chosen your desired shade, we will explain to you how long the process will take. In many cases, producing the bright smile that you are looking for will only take one treatment. However, more severe cases could take two or more treatments to reach your desired results.
We will prepare for the whitening process by polishing your teeth to remove any plaque from the enamel. This allows your teeth to whiten much easier than using whitening toothpaste or over-the-counter whitening products. We also apply gauze to your mouth to keep your mouth and teeth dry during the process. This also prevents any peroxide from irritating your gums and lips.
In most cases, the whitening process won’t take longer than an hour. We will apply the whitening solution to the front surface of your teeth and may require the use of a curing light that helps activate the solution.
Once your desired shade is reached, we rinse your mouth and may apply a fluoride application to ease tooth sensitivity.

What is in our control, we will guarantee. The quality of our workmanship and materials, is our responsibility, and we will fix or repair any work that fails, here in our office. We will always do the right thing, standing behind the work done at our office. This guarantee covers any problems that later become evident, like a crown coming off, a filling that falls out, or a denture or crown that needs to be adjusted. If a treatment, like a root canal, needs to be repeated, there will be no additional charge to fix work under guarantee.
